Jake Evans is an attorney, public servant, and community leader in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jake grew up in a small town on the Westside of Atlanta, Georgia called Lithia Springs. Jake followed his Georgia roots and attended his dream school, The University of Georgia, for both undergrad and law school.
Following law school, Jake began practicing law in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, an international law firm with over 2,700 lawyers in 26 offices across the globe. Jake serves as a high-level problem solver for his clients, who bring him their most complex and important problems, from regulatory to litigation to business matters, that Jake solves.
Jake is also a prominent public servant and community leader. He served as Chairman of Georgia’s State Ethics Commission (the Georgia Government Transparency & Campaign Finance Commission), which Jake, with the help of many others, established as respected and focused agency that ensures Georgia voters know where money flows in Georgia politics.
Jake is the current Chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association’s Georgia Chapter and the Georgia Republican Party’s Elections Competence Task Force and is the Immediate Past President of the Atlanta Young Republicans, the largest YR Chapter in the country, which Jake helped build to a nationally-acclaimed and award-winning organization. Jake also serves on Georgia Advisory Council to the United Commission on Civil Rights, the Atlanta Ballet’s Advisory Council, Georgia’s Bipartisan Task Force for Safe, Secure and Accessible Elections, and the Editorial Board to the State Bar of Georgia’s Bar Journal.
Jake has been blessed to win many awards for his work, but Jake, most importantly, seeks to take bold, decisive, and thoughtful action to make tomorrow better than today, for everyone.
